Peppermint & Pretty.

As the holidays inch closer, I’m beginning to worry that my waistline may also be inching closer to the brim of my fat-pants. Well, I live in Vancouver, so they’re really just fat-lululemons. And they stretch, so maybe it’s not so bad after all.  Good thing, because there’s no stopping the Christmas Cookie Train.

The days leading up to Christmas, whether spent in Vancouver or back home in Ontario, are filled with amazing treats that I convince myself are less unhealthy because they’re festive. And being a sucker for visualization, the cuter the treats, the less unhealthy they become.

Due to the fact that I’ve been maniacally struggling to finish my DIY Christmas gifts in time for the 25th, I haven’t managed to whip up as many different goodies as I’d have liked… yet. In the meantime, here are some of the things I hope to re-create this holiday season.

{candy cane sugar cookies}

{hot chocolate on a stick}

{white chocolate peppermint fudge}

{gingerbread snowflakes}

{peppermint bark}

It seems as though my pumpkin obsession has re-harvested itself as a peppermint addiction, but frankly I’m alright with that. I’ve got a feeling that my friends will be too, because most of these goodies will be gifted to them out of love, and fear of the yoga pants.
